Luna kept in pursuit. The only thing that could keep her going was the pain that lingered in her heart. "You can continue on as much as you like. I won't give up!"

The Aged Wolf was ready to fight, but jumping at his age was hard


The woman in black tossed a sphere of darkness at Luna

Luna jumped backwards. She had to avoid Layla getting hurt at all costs. "I won't back down."

"Save the hero talk, little miss thing, I have a world to take over" She spoke to Luna, a volley of dark sphere flying from her hands



Jargos and Kreig found a way out of the pit and saw the fight unfolding. Kreig was furious and he unleashed a howl like no other in the world. Thunderheads rolled in and a drizzled began as Kreig dropped to his knees, pain surging through him. Jargos roared and leaped down, landing near Luna

Luna was dodging attacks as best she could. "I need a hand. With Layla down, I can't do much. Welcome back, guys." She was hiding every emotion that told her to hug the both of them, but there was more important things to do.

Jargos immediately took Layla up into his arms, checking her pulse

"Layla! Layla! No, No, Stay with me!!" He called out, in tears, his runes glowing red



Pain was crushing Kreig's being, his runes were shining like bright lights. He howled out and all of his energy flooded into Luna. The thunderheads roared out, ejecting lightning upon the earth

Luna was raging. She charged up a sphere. Jumping off a boulder, she went to land an attack on the strange woman.

Jargos roared out, his body sifting in pure fury

The woman moved out of Luna's way and the attack missed. "Da** it! Sit still!" She ran back to Jargos' side. "This is ridiculous. First Mortifer and now this crazy woman. She better hope that Layla is still alive or I'll shred her to pieces!"

"LAYLA!!!!" Jargos shouted into the skies "NNOOOOOO!!!" Jargos was losing it, and Kreig was unconscious, all his energy in Luna. Jargos got up and roared out at the woman, all of his primal rage focused on her

Luna could see that Jargos was on the verge to losing control. "Jargos! Keep your head straight!" she stated. Luna glanced back at Layla. "If not for me, then for her," she said quietly. Luna needed some sort of healing ability. Something to help her. A voice came to her mind but she couldn't make out the words. Luna formed a shield around Jargos and then a fireball in her hand.

"Jargos, the three of us alone can't take her down. But, if we work as one, we can. Do you know how to channel?"

He snarled and nodded



The woman was focusing her energy into a giant shpere

"Then let's repeat what you both did before. We must hurry!" The markings turned blue once more as a fireball formed in her hand. She held out her open one to Jargos.

Jargos took her hand in his paw and began giving her his energy

Luna felt his energy flow to her as she let her energy flow to him. "Form your attack. Merge it with mine. And then together, we'll land the final blow."

Jargos ignited and formed a mini-sun, gravity included and held it out for Luna to merge the attack with. Kreig began to wake up, his runes drawing in new energy for him, which he used to form a ball of lightning

The attacks merged. "All together, everyone," Luna stated. "One hit is all it's going to take." She formed a shield over everyone with the remaining power that wasn't pulled into the attack.

Kreig launched his lighting ball from his hand to Jargos. Jargos caught the ball and merged it into his mini-sun and then into Luna's attack. He let her do the honors



The woman in black shot her sphere

Luna immediately drew the sphere back and launched it with as much strength as she could. "Release!" Multiple colors flashed in the arena and Luna kept the shield held tight around the group.

Jargos instinctively used his giant body as a shield for Layla, while Kreig called forth more power to flow into Luna's shield



As spheres crashed in the air and made a fantastic light show

When it was over, Luna didn't see the woman in sight. "Do you think it's over?" she asked. Luna glanced back at the two. "Not a sound. Not anything."

Jargos ignored everything else. He was bawling over Layla. Kreig didn't know what to do other than hold Luna

The voice from before echoed in her mind again. It was telling her to listen closely to her heart. That, if she did, she'd find a solution. Luna pulled from Kreig's embrace and sat beside Layla and Jargos. "When you two went down, she tried to activate my powers. Although she was successful, she pushed me out of the way of Shadows that were trying to pull us down. They had her in a bit of a bind. They must have been trying to force themselves through her and failed." Luna formed a blue aura around her hands. "If my powers are ahead of Layla's, then that means so is my healing magic. If she can remove the shadows from Kreig's body, then surely I can do the same and hopefully revive her. She has a pulse, but it's a faint one."

Jargos didn't understand, but Kreig got it. He put a hand on Luna's back to give her the last bit of power he had

Luna placed her hands just an inch or so above Layla's body. She closed her eyes and let her magic flow. "The shadows are strong, but, together, we are stronger." It was taking time to heal Layla, but Luna was confident it would work. "Just a little bit longer."
