Jargos and Kreig knocked down the doors that lead to the queens chambers and roared at the Paladin


The Paladin scoffed

"Two pups come to kill me"?

Layla heard the sudden roar of the two echoing down the hall. She ran off in their direction and Luna was in pursuit.

Jargos snarled and shifted while Kreig launched forward in a lunge


The Paladin sidestepped and kneed Kreig in the jaw, then charged Jargos while he was in his shift

The paladin was in sight. "Luna, it's time for some teamwork."

"Right. In position, now!"

While running, the two held hands side by side as their marks lit up. From their free hands, a blue sphere appeared and merged together.

"Someone lacks knowledge of their chivalry. Didn't anyone teach you to protect the lower class? Apparently, you need to go back to your squire days," Luna stated. Layla could only laugh.

Jargos caught the Paladin in midair and choke slammed him as Kreig got back up and charged for a second attack


The Paladin was unfazed and went to cleave through Jargos' arm

Raged spiked through Layla. "This game is over, sir. I believe your chess piece has been captured." She called, "Luna, together now!"

"Release!" the two yelled in unison. A large, aqua-colored sphere shot at the paladin. The two girls kept their hands held to increase the power in the attack.

A dark aura surrounded the Paladin's blade and shot Jargos off into Kreig, the two went flying back, but it was too late o dodge the sphere

Layla saw the sphere hit the paladin dead on. Smoke immediately filled the area. The two girls rushed in, hoping to find Kreig and Jargos to pull them out of the smoke before the paladin could strike again.

Kreig and Jargos shot out of the smoke with the girls and left the chamber at speed, trying to get into an open area to fight

Layla and Luna stood their ground as the smoke cleared. The two weren't sure how successful their attack was, but they hoped it gave off some damage.

Jargos and Kreig steeled themselves over



The Paladin leapt out of the smoke and held his sword at the ready. Just then, a flash of black shot down from the ceiling, and the woman in black landed next to the Paladin

Luna's eyes grew wide in amazement. "For the love of Gaea..." she said.

"Who is she?" Layla asked.

"She's the one that tried to kill all of you guys. The one I chased when you were hurt." Luna was full of rage. "How did you even survive my attack? I was almost sure I had killed you."

"Poor things, not even sure how to kill" The woman said in laughter


Jargos and Kreig roared out and charged

Knowing her normal magic would give no aid, Layla turned to the power of the runes for aid. Within a few moments, she took on the form of the silver wolf.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Luna asked.

"I survived death once. I'll do it again." Layla charged in to the fight with Luna holding a shield close behind.

The Paladin tried to slice at Jargos, but his thick skin stopped the blade and Kreig tackled him to the ground


The woman in black made shadows come up into a leash for Layla

"I'm not a chew toy." Layla growled and jumped into the air to land a bite to her shoulder.

Luna's shield wouldn't be able to get around the shadows for long. "I hope you know what you're doing, Grandmother."

Kreig bash the Paladin, but he threw Kreig off and decked Jargos back before getting up and shooting bolts of dark energy at the two

Layla instructed for Luna to help the two men while she stalled the woman. When she saw the leash appear around her neck, she stated, "You think leashing or possessing me is really going to stop me? I'm fairly sure that I'm at least eighty years your senior in both age and magic."

Jargos and Kreig attempted to shred the Paladin, but dodged again


The woman smiled and sent dark energy surging into Layla

Layla cringed in pain as she felt the energy enter her body. She was still standing on her four paws but it was undeniable that she felt pain within her. "I-it's not that easy... to get rid of me."

Luna started forming spheres in her hand and sent them toward the paladin. "Die, won't you?"

Jargos heard Layla and turned to attack the woman, Kreig lunged on the Paladin and pinned him

Layla tried to break the chains with her teeth that were holding her. "You may have the upper hand, but you are not stronger than me." Her marks started glowing as she pulled the chains.

Luna formed a force field over the paladin. "He should hold still now."

The woman was pulled of balance by Layla, then screamed in terror as Jargos tackled her to the ground. His rage was climbing


The Paladin was fighting Luna's shield, but failing. Kreig struck him down and went to bite at his throat

Layla was still stuck to the chain and collar, but she took the opportunity to launch herself on top of the woman. "First rule, I am not your pet. Second rule, you are not stronger than me. And third, you make horrid mistakes by attacking me to start with."

Jargos held the woman's throat, his claws beared



Kreig snapped his jaws, crunching into the armor
