Misunderstood Destinies

He smiled, then put his boots on. He was exhausted, but she still needed to test herself while using her rune

Layla had a bit of a wanting to try to take her final form as the wolf, but she was unsure if she'd know how to call the power to her.

He backed up a bit and let her attack whenever she wanted to

"You said you can call on the power of your inner self and take their form, correct?" She didn't need the answer. Rhetorical questions called for rhetorical answers. The Rune on her hand started glowing green. A green sphere formed in her right hand. The sphere shattered in her hand and a white light appeared around her. Within seconds, her body took form of the white-pelted wolf. She howled as the sun began to set beyond the horizon.

Jargos was enamored by the beauty of Layla in her wolf form and almost forgot she was about to attack him. He took a defensive stance to let her attack

Layla walked around a bit on all fours, seeing as she was a wolf rather than human. "This is going to take some time getting used to. I walk on four and I have no thumbs." She laughed.

"Just let thine body move naturally and it shall come to thee quickly"

Layla noticed a white fluffy tail behind her. "Hey!" she chased it a bit. "I have a tail." She giggled. Realizing she was still in front of Jargos, Layla moved into a sitting position and blushed in embarrassment. "My bad."

Jargos smiled a bit, then nodded to her

Layla smiled and stood on all fours again. "Well, then prepare yourself!" Layla started circling Jargos in a hunting style.

Jargos takes a deep breath, then closed his eyes to ready himself for her attack

When Layla had seem a right enough time to strike, she pounced high into the air to strike a blow on top of him.

Jargos roared out and made a movement to hit the wolf, but moved back and simply let her come to the ground unharmed. Jargos bit his tongue for hesitating

"I do have a shield, you know," she said while landing on the ground. "Unless you use enough force to break my shield, which I know you do have when you choose to use it, your hits won't hurt me until the shield breaks."

Jargos nodded, then readied himself once more

Layla started running quickly around Jargos and then ran at him to ram into him.

Jargos planted his feet, and took the charge head on and didn't budge, then went to claw at Layla

As he went to claw at her, Layla bit his free arm. She had a firm grip.

Jargos growled, but simply pulled his arm close to him to skull bash Layla, he hit the shield, then tossed her off

Layla shook her head a bit. Despite it not hurting, she still felt the impact on her. "If you want, try your fire. You need some practice on it if you're going to have any shot at using it effectively against the mages."

Jargos nodded and lit his hands on fire and readied himself for another attack

Layla smiled. Her tail wagged a bit, in which she had wanted to chase immensely. "Now I see why dogs always chase their tails back in Zeiza." She focused back on Jargos.

Jargos began firing flame bolts at her

Layla jumped back to dodge each one and managed to deflect one ball of fire with her shield.

In the flurry of fire, he vanished and reappeared behind her and fired more flame blots at her
