Layla started walking to the gate seeing as no denies were made.

"Daughter, where are you going?" she asked.

"I'm going to find Jargos. I know he's out there, Mother."

"How do you know?"

"Remember that sphere I sent to find him?"

"Yes?"

"It found him, and I've picked up his trail."

Layla rushed out the gates and proceeded on to find Jargos. She still felt weak, but was strong enough to continue on.

Jargos kept walking, He couldn't smell Layla yet, she was down wind

Layla continued on. "I know he's near." She started to feel sore from the aftermath of the fight but kept going. "I know he's out here somewhere."

Jargos made his way to the base of the mountain, then looked up to see a tiny dot on it's why down

"Jargos!" she yelled out, hoping to find him. She continued on.

He heard her yell, then roared in response, signaling that he had just started making his way up the mountain

Layla hurried as fast as she could. "I knew it!" she stated in joy.

He roared out in victory, then collapsed. He couldn't walk any more. He rolled over onto his back and just waited for her to come to him

She didn't want to stop, and Layla continued on as much as she could. When she finally found Jargos, she nearly cried in joy. She sat down beside him and put a hand to his chest.

"I finally found you," she said quietly. "You saved my life, and I'm grateful for it. Eternally."

He breathed heavily, but shook his head.

"You saved mine. You were willing to risk everything to tell me to get a grip. If you didn't do that, I wouldn't be here right now"

He spoke in the language of beasts, and he growled more instead of breathing

Layla understood him like before, and she was just happy he was alive.

"When Ramona and I collided, I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to get the warning out to you later. The last thing I could even think about was you. I don't know what happened after we both were sent flying. I just know that you came to your senses. Otherwise, I'd be dead."

Layla smiled. She set up a campfire to warm up the clearing and rested peacefully beside Jargos.

Jargos knew their adventure was not over, but he knew they could do it. He rested peacefully, his runes glowing a soft green
