Cathain wanted to battle XANA, but she knew it would have to wait another day. She knew that school would end in a matter of a few weeks, so hopefully by then they could be rid of XANA and get back to their real life.

"There's bound to be a reason that XANA was after you. When you found the computer, what was it that you found?"
"Honestly, I've read a lot of information in the computer. Between information in the tower and sector five, along with the diaries of Aelita, I don't fully know what I have that he's after."

Ryou soon reached an abandoned laboratory not so far away. He opened the door as several red lights targeted him. Shannon received a text message as she screamed to the top of her lungs.

Cathain gave Shannon an odd look.
"I know you're nuts, but really?" She shook her head in near disbelief. Cathain had a puzzled look on her face from a thought that crossed her mind.

"No, Ryou sent me a text to scream to the top of my lungs."

Ryou's ears perked up. "West, eh?" He smiled.

Cathain facepalmed, then went back to her thoughts.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm trying to figure out something. There's bound to be a reason he targeted me. Specifically. He didn't ever take his thoughts to you."
"Cathain, what did you find on your first visit to Lyoko?"
"That's the thing. I don't remember."

Ryou returned to the factory as he spoke, "Back from the CIA lab." He dragged along a man in a lab coat. "Cathy, I'm paying you to keep an eye on him. Here's ten bucks. Use the rope."

"I'm sorry I asked now." Cathain facepalmed. Cathain turned back to Shannon. "I need to talk to you in a little while when we get some privacy."

"Shannon, check your text messages in a few minutes for your next task. You might want to cooperate since your lives are on the line. Oh and if he has another gun on him, just mention that I know where he lives. 'Kay? Okay!"

Cathain didn't comment. Shannon only shrugged to Cathain, know was thinking about the same thing as her.

The man awakened as Ryou paused. "Ryou-chop!" Ryou yelled. The man fell unconscious. He blew the dust off his hand after hitting his head.

"Oh, sure. Text me when I can come back." Ryou headed for the elevator. He turned around. "Text me." He repeated in a cold voice, as if Cathy had no intention on his return.

When Ryou left, Shannon walked up to her. "Alright. What's your deal?"
"I need to find out what XANA did the day he had me bound to Lyoko. It was more than an virus. It was more than looking for a physical body. I faintly remember finding some information that he didn't want me having. When Ryou knocked me out, I saw a flash. It was the Scyphozoa. And I don't remember having an encounter with the Scyphozoa before we teamed up on Lyoko."
