"Nice to meet you, sir." Ryou replied, bowing down in respect and then returning back up.
"Well, it seems that everything is in order. I hope that you will enjoy your stay here at Kadic Academy."
"Thank you very much, sir."
"You are familiar with the way to your dorm room?"
"Yes, sir."
"Very well. Have a good night."
"Thank you, sir." Ryou replied as he went to his room.

| Cathain awakened the next morning to a bright Tuesday. She was starting off the day with Mrs. Suzanne Hertz, the science teacher at Kadic Academy. Looking forward to the new day, and then a relaxing evening at her computer, she prepared for class and left her dorm. Rumor had gotten to her about a new student today. Cathain was anxious to find out if the rumor was true or just another piece of daily gossip. | |

The door slid open as Ryou walked in. He spoke, "Sorry I'm late, I'm still adjusting to the school." He looked at the class and introduced, "The name's Ryou, nice to meet you all. I'll be in your hands."
"Well then, please take a seat over there by Sam. Sam, raise your hand please. Cathain, raise your hand. Ryou, Cathain is the class representative. If you have any questions or need any help, don't hesitate to ask her." "Thanks."

| As Ryou sat down, Cathain handed him a folder. Its contents were of some information to catch him up on the latest things happening in class, a copy of the school paper, and some notes from teachers. She received the folder from Mrs. Hertz when she entered class. A note laid on top of the folder, turned over.
It read:
Mrs. Hertz asked me to give this to you. I'll explain any of it that you don't understand. Just some standard papers. Informational packets, mostly. Welcome to Kadic Academy, by the way.

| Cathain sighed, pinching her forehead slightly. "We'll talk about this later. I've got some work to attend to tonight. If we're going to talk, it's going to have to be before six."
Mrs. Hertz interrupts the conversation, saying, "If you both would prefer, I can arrange skipping your classes for the day and have Cathain show you around, Ryou. I can assign your missed work to another day, Cathain. Would that be fine?"
"Perfectly, Mrs. Hertz. Ryou, would you like to come with me?"

| Cathain nodded and explained who the Staff was at the school while she went down the halls and showed the different halls and buildings.
"-- Although it's a big school, you should be able to get around okay. If you get lost, a teacher can always help you out. Also, dorms are separated by gender. After ten, no students are allowed out of their dorms unless it's the weekend. Classes start at eight o'clock sharp and end at four."
