"Alright, alright. Okay, I'll see what I can do. It's a 8-hour flight back with out jet. We have a custom path across EPA-restricted airspace." Tom waved his hand as a taxi stopped by. "Agent Tom." Tom spoke as the agent nodded. Jason and Kat went in as Tom closed the door. He spoke through the window, "I'll meet you at gate 7E. Take this laminated pass, Kat." Tom handed a laminated pass as he continued, "We'll be taking a private jet back to headquarters, so we have to be on the jet in two hours."

Kat nodded. "I'll be looking forward to getting some good sleep tonight. I need it, to be honest. I feel great, but, tired, at that."

The window rolled up as the taxi went to the airport. Tom stayed behind as he teleported to the airport to take care of early preparations for the jet. "Hey, nobody goes through here--" The man fell unconscious as Tom grabbed his security jacket and wore his own fake security ID. Tom entered through as he scanned the man's ID card and went into the airport. A lady froze as she asked, "Tom, is that you?" "Do I know-- Lizzy? What are you doing here? Are you my contact?" "Apparently so, but what's with the security jacket? Too tired to use the regular entrance?" "Yeah..." Tom took off the security jacket and dumped it and the man's ID card into the other security guard who walked by. The security guard looked bewilderingly at Tom and Lisa as he headed towards where he was going. Tom and Lisa went to make the preparations.

While Tom was gone, Kat had a little bit of time to herself despite being with Jason. She tried to concentrate a bit. Trying to figure out this whole 'awakening' thing. Kat felt almost as if she was learning things she didn't know before. As if she knew it all this whole time and just didn't realize it.

Meanwhile, Kat was debating on what she'd do after getting back home. Possibly catch up on some school work she missed earlier that week. Maybe some alone time for some reading.

"It's about time I hear back from you, Tom. And, hello, Lisa." Kat was a little uneasy being near Lisa, since she didn't seem to treat Kat like she was equal to her. But, Kat let Lisa have her ways since she was sure that Lisa was stubborn. Tom didn't have to tell her that to know.

"Hey Jason, long time no see." Lisa replied. "And hello to you too, kid." Tom nudged Lisa as he whispered, "Be nice, Lizzy." "Do I have too..." She whined back. "Yes." Tom whispered. "Fine." Lisa mumbled back.

"You know, I'd enjoy it if you'd call me Kat. Just because I'm new doesn't mean you can't call me by my real name. I don't care what kind of policy you go by. We're all equal in this world. It doesn't matter by your ranking, Lisa." Kat could hear herself in her near-authority tone. She wasn't afraid to speak up anymore, at least, now that she's stepping up after the fight with Barbus.

"Hey, until you get a rank, you're just a kid, a brat, a sport, or whatever. We all went through it. Just live with it. Took me a year to get off being called a brat. Everyone goes through the initiation test. Took Tom two years just to get off being called an 'idiot,' and it wasn't because he murdered that guy--" Tom laughed. "He deserved it. He was a wanted criminal that EPA wanted dead. I took out my rage on him. Lisa laughed. "Yeah, I went through the same crap. Until they saw me take down that army, was I ever called Tom."

"Lisa, I'm only angry because of this pathetic system you use. I don't see why you can't just use my name." Kat was on the verge to saying something she'd regret. "I just want to get back on the plane and get home. Nothing more. The sooner we get home, the better."

"We're supposed to meet with Mark..." Lisa said as someone suddenly approached them. "Hey Lisa~" Mark greeted as he put his arm around Tom. "Hiya, sport." "Uh..." Lisa mumbled. Mark was suddenly thrown back against the wall. Lisa facepalmed. "Mark, you idiot... He murdered the last guy who called him that. Consider yourself lucky." Tom brushed his shoulders as he gave a warm smile. "See Kat? Sometimes you just have to assert yourself." Tom laughed.

Kat walked off, wanting to get a water bottle and to cool down.

Kat quickly grabbed a water bottle and went into the Women's Bathroom to put some water on her face.
"Just calm down, Kat. Things will be better when you get home."
"Why don't you take authority?" a voice asked her. "If it's what you want, then do it. You have power. Use it to your advantage."
Kat knew that she was hearing voices. It didn't surprise her. The voice from earlier came to mind. She was told that she was given a choice. And to make future choices wisely. Thus, she ignored the voice that spoke to her.
