| Kat turned around to face the spirit. "Then let's find out." She put a hand to the spirit's chest. The marking began to activate. Suddenly, a vision passed across her mind as she instantly woke up. Kat sat up in her bed as the marking faded. She calmed her nerves as she turned her lamp back on.
