| Tom put his hand on his shoulder his eyes glowed. The wind went out of control as the leaves on the trees barely hung on. The grass began to be ripped off the ground as the streets were torn up. "Come on... Come on... Mind sync!" Everything suddenly froze as the damage was restored. "You won't be manipulated again." Everything went black. | |

| Tom returned to Kat and Alice as he spoke, "I purified Barbus. He was being manipulated indirectly. He wants Kat dead, due to the fact that she will upset the balance of the world when she awakens, etc. It's basically the prophecy getting an updated fix when Fate was wrong. Fate is confused." Tom took out a piece of paper as the blood on his cheeks vanished. His wounds began to heal as his eyes turned back from a red color to their normal, dark brown color. "I'm never going past level 3... I can probably handle 10 and that's it..."

Kat was feeling much better, to say the least. She no longer felt afraid. She felt stronger. She loved the feeling. Kat thought of herself very weak, because she had never been able to be confident with herself or defend herself. And now she had that ability. | |
