| Tom checked-in both him and Kat into the hotel at the front desk as they showed them their rooms. They both received an ID card to access their respective rooms. They each got 3 ID cards and 3 towel cards that could be exchanged for a towel each.

| Tom entered his room to find a large room with a luxurious bed. There was a huge computer set-up on the right and a large, great view of London. There were ceiling fans and a room service menu. Both Kat and Tom had free access to room service.

Kat turned around to glance at the sun rising in the distance.
"All my life, I've been limited to what I could do. To what I could say. To the choices I could make. And now... it's all opened up. It's finally turning around. I've been hidden from the world. My powers... they were hidden from every living soul. I sometimes wondered if I'd ever meet another person who understood. Someone who could understand how I felt, and not be afraid to step up like I had been.
Although it protected me from the dangers, it also put a lot of things at risk. I know that. I can feel it within me that the Darkness is ruthless. But, if they want to get to the rest of the world, they're going to have to get through me first.
