| Kat held back tears, not wanting to exactly say what had happened. She pulled back from Lisa to explain the story.
"The night my parents found out that they were active again was just recent. Tom was over, since he was helping me on a bit of homework. Or, at least, so my parents thought. They snapped at me, and it hurt. I ran outside, despite not having my jacket, and I fell into the snow. I think I called out to Tom, because I went unconscious. When I woke up, he was with me, and he was helping me stay warm with a jacket. I was upset, needless to say."

| Kat decided to finish up the story, knowing that Tom would return. "So, Lisa, as a result, they're giving me a permanent place to stay. I think the Agency is about the best home I'm going to get. My parents don't want me home, so, I don't have anywhere else to go. I would've had to stay out in the cold if it wasn't for Tom and Henry setting up a room here. If it wasn't for my powers, I could be home right now with my parents enjoying life like normal. But, it's not going to happen. At least I can call this place a home. Better than I could before." | Tom replied, "Cheer up, Kat. Well, when you're ready to train, just give me a call through your communicator." Tom put his hand in the air as Kat's communicator flew into his hand. "Data scan!" Tom yelled, sliding a blue chip through the scanner. A binary column of numbers flew across the screen as the screen went black. "Reloading OS." The screen read as it restarted the system. "You should be able to call other agents now without any problems. Just tell it you want to call a specific person. It has a built-in webcam. Give Lizzy, Henry, or I a call if you need something or just someone to talk to." Tom handed the communicator back to Kat as he gave a warm smile. He soon walked to the training center to practice by himself.

| Kat walked off, managing to find her way back to her room. She locked the door behind her and turned on her radio on her clock. Glancing at her clock, the time read only nine AM. Closing her curtain, the room looked almost as if it was evening. That's what she wanted it to be, mainly. Just not wanting to go back to school tomorrow. Having so much to take in at once wasn't easy for her, especially with her away from home. Kat knew she would manage through it, but, it was overwhelming to say the least. Laying back on her bed, she has a safe feeling within her. | |

| "Confirmed. Scanning for Dark Energy." A bright, green light shot out of the front of the communicator as it aimed to the ceiling. A dark purple aura could be seen floating. "Downloading." A bar appeared as the Dark Energy aimed at Kat. The Dark Energy was sucked into the Communicator as the bar went up.

| "Contacting administrator..." The communicator spoke. Tom busted through the door without opening it as his spiritual form took shape. The Dark Energy was suddenly purified and absorbed as the communicator spoke, "Sending data to administrator." Tom picked up the communicator and absorbed the Dark Energy. "Dark Energy sneaked in through you." Tom spoke as he poked Kat's forehead, purifying and absorbing the Dark Energy within Kat.
