Alan sensed that the woman was definitely the one who kidnapped Maya. Maya's scent was clearly on her clothes.

"We actually would like to ask you a question," Zelda stated.
"And I'm sure I know what that question is, for as I might have something that might help you. We will speak at my tent. I do not want others to overhear and grow concerned."

Vivian led to her tent and everyone sat down. The tiny cauldron of fire stood between them, and Vivian lowered it slightly with a cup of nearby water. Pulling a tiny chest-like box, she opened it. "I found this Key remaining here after Maya Gardner had left. I know it was hers because I saw her wearing it. However, I fear of why it remains. I see that the young lad, Alex, returned to you all. And yet she did not. Tell me, is she alright? When I saw you all come to the entrance, I feared that she may have been caught by our enemy."

"That key has Maya's essence on it. I can probably track her down with that. May I have a look?"

Vivian sat down, nodding for the others to do so. "When I saw that Maya was not with any of you, I had a feeling she did not return. I found this in my tent after her departure. Please, make sure this is returned to you. I would love to help you find her. I do not know her whereabouts, but, hopefully you do or can at least find her."

"Miss Vivian! Could you please come with us for a moment?" A voice called.

"Please excuse me, everyone," Vivian said. She walked outside the tent, and entered another tent across the camp and vanished. Only to reappear back at the abandoned castle to ensure that Maya was still in one place.
"And when they find her, she will be beyond any healing possible."

Alan spoke, "Alright, you all know Vivian is the one who kidnapped Maya right? I'm sure of it."

"Why would she want to? I mean, she is our only suspect regardless, but, what's her goal? We've never met this woman before, and suddenly out of the blue she kidnaps Maya?" Zelda replied.
"Could it be that she knows you, but, not the other way around?" Heron questioned.
"Well, it's possible, but, it just seems rather odd."

Vivian placed her hand on Maya's chest for merely a moment.
"Wonderful. Without her power, this spirit will die out quickly. I'd give it possibly an hour. I have almost everything I need. Should those fools find her now, it will make little difference. All I want now is the enjoyment of watching the spirit suffer. With her marking wounded, her powers drained, and my memory spell at work, I'll have everything I need soon enough. All to do now, is wait."
Vivian left the chamber, sealing the barrier in the room. She vanished, and then reappeared back at the campsite.

"Maya is being sealed as we speak. You are aware that I gave her a small piece of paper. It is a level 10 seal. As long as she has it, Vivian can't kill her off and I'll be able to see whatever Maya sees. That is how I knew where she was just by closing my eyes and watching the events play by through Mind Sync. You don't think I'd let our children wander off to their possible doom, right?" Alan said as he gave a war smile as he plotted his next move.

"Do you think we'll be able to go get her before Vivian learns of it?"

"Sure. Vivian is powerful since she is able to control dark energy at the same power and rate as level 2 in the level system Time and I customized for easier communication in quick situations. Fortunately, I can control any energy, including that of which the tower Maya is locked in. Now, I'll bring you guys there and undo the weak barrier she set up. I'll then meet you up to face Vivian. If she tries to escape, just give me a signal and I'll render her incapable of escaping."

"Alan, I'll tell you once and I'll tell you again. Any person that decides to harm my daughter will deal with me. I've got my power back, and should you step in on family matters I'll handle you as well. Understood?" Zelda stated.

"You might want to listen to her, Alan. I don't even want to be there when it all goes down," Heron replied.

"You can't kill Vivian without purifying the black and dark energies within her. You want to go through that black energy crap, go ahead. Fine by me."

"Hey, you're the only one that's bananas. Don't go off with your monkey business." Alan replied, laughing to himself. Before they knew it, they were in another dimension with a tower inside. Alan was nowhere to be found.

"We need to find Maya. Where we find Maya, we'll find Vivian. And when we find her, you need to get Maya, call for Alan, and get out of here as fast as you can."
"What about you, Zelda?"
"I'm handling Vivian personally."
"That's insane."
"Don't tell me what's insane. Tell me what we need to do. And our top priority is getting Maya out of here. Now, come on!" Zelda ran off in the northern direction.
"How do you know where you're going?!"
"I don't. I trust family instincts. I thought you knew that by now!"
Heron shook his head and followed Zelda.

Vivian appeared in the chamber. The room suddenly expanded as a large throne was formed. Maya was laying on the padded table beside her. A red carpet formed on the floor and the room lit up with chandeliers.
"Oh, how I have waited for this day so much," Vivian said. She sat in the large chair, crossed her legs, and propped her hands on her leg. "And when she arrives, the battle will begin and be over quickly."

Zelda suddenly heard a voice in her mind, coming from Vivian. "Come find me. I'm waiting for you. I dear say, your daughter does not look well. Let's not wait much longer, shall we?" Zelda sped up slightly and continued off to the chamber.

"Heron, if you see Alan come, tell him to get out of that room. Both of you are to get her out of there. No questions asked."

Heron was about to interfere as Alan suddenly appeared behind Heron. Heron fell unconscious as Alan gave a nod to Zelda. His body floated in mid-air as he and Heron vanished.

Zelda quickly found Vivian's chamber and ran inside, stopping as the door closed behind her.
"You know, I was quite amazed with your daughter, Miss Twunnysixteen. She has incredible power for being a person of her type." Vivian stood up and walked over to Maya, rubbing her face slightly.
"Maya..."
"She really is a unique type. But, of course, she cannot stand up against my power."
"What did you do to her!" Zelda yelled, clenching her fist.
"Oh, some easy things. Drain her powers, block her energy through her marking, and take the life from her spirit overall."
"You are just--"
"A sick person? Oh, deary. I hear that often. Thank you ever so much," Vivian placed her hand on Maya's pale face. Zelda took a sprinting position.
"GET. YOUR GRUBBY LITTLE HANDS. OFF. MY DAUGHTER," Zelda yelled, enough for her voice to echo. She ran toward Vivian and pulled her straight to the ground. Vivian flicked Zelda's forehead as she was suddenly pulled off of Vivian by an unknown force.
"Now, now. Let's not get carried away, shall we? I would like to avoid blood on my carpet."
"Oh, screw you!"
"Language, oh dear."
"I've heard enough."
Zelda formed an energy sphere in her hand and threw several at Vivian. She held up her hand as all of them were deflected.
"Is that all you've got?"
"You haven't even seen the beginning, Vivian."
A blue aura formed around Zelda. Her rage was starting to surface.
"This is the kind of fights I love. Let's end this quickly, shall we?"
"Go to Hades, Vivian."
"I've been there. It's lovely."

Alan felt Zelda's rage peak up as his eyes glowed red. Zelda felt a touch on her forehead as a paper was lifted from her pocket. The paper floated in mid-air as a small vial necklace followed it out of Zelda's pocket. The vial necklace that Alan sneaked in suddenly attached itself to Zelda's neck as her rage was removed from her body. The seal began to glow as the paper unfolded itself as Zelda began to feel calmer. The seal suddenly exploded in a large light that blinded Vivian as the paper and vial returned to Zelda's pocket.

"Don't suppress my rage, Alan. That's my key for the moment."

"Your friend is assisting you, isn't he?" Vivian asked, gaining her vision quickly.
"Shut up. I don't want to hear your mouth."
"Then stop talking to yourself and fight."
Zelda summoned Aqua to her, reforming the blue aura and turning it a bloody red. Quickly, Zelda ran up to Vivian in hand-to-hand combat. Both attacked swiftly until they started using their powers. Zelda jumped back, threw a sphere filled with water and energy, then quickly ran behind it. Vivian mimicked the move, and quickly went down and tripped Zelda. Zelda turned over, and Vivian placed her foot on Zelda's chest.
"Don't underestimate me, Miss Twunnysixteen."
"The name is Gardner. Shut your trap." Zelda twisted around, got up, and kicked Vivian to the ground.
Vivian held her hand up towards Maya, and a purple and black tinted sphere formed as her body began to glow black.
"Make one wrong move, and I'll kill her right here and now."
"You wouldn't dare."
"Try me."
Zelda waited a moment, thinking of her current options. Vivian dared, and suddenly threw the sphere. Zelda ran quick, coming between Maya and the overly-powerful blast. Black smoke filled the air after its' collision with Zelda.
"Haha! Didn't I tell you? I'm too powerful for you," Vivian laughed.

(Okay. I'm doing something completely hilarious. Let me go along with this. You'll laugh hard later. Trust me.)
