"Lyoko, XANA, school, grades." Cathain sighed. "And I've got to find the money to get out of the Orphanage deal. When school is out, which is only a few more short months away, I've got to find somewhere to go. I've got to find some way to get some money and get out of their deal. I don't want more on my plate than I can chew. And, frankly, I don't have any appetite for it."

"That's not the issue. Kids who stay at the place can't be released until they're adopted. I always refused adoption. Couldn't stand it. I'm not allowed to leave until I'm eighteen. When I don't need parental consent. Naturally, you'd think it'd be sixteen, but you can't get a car without parental consent at that age. I don't have money, nor parents. So, regardless, I'm stuck until I'm older. I know I've got bigger things to worry about, but, I'm already working on a plan to get around the works. If it comes down to it, I'll resort to it."

Cathian laughed to herself. "With what? Can't get a job, can't get money. I've got two options. Talk Shannon into letting me stay with her, or work something out at the Hermitage or Factory. But, I don't want to intrude on a residence. That would just put the police after me. However, at the same time, it's the only option I may have someday."

The little birdie in that tree told me." "What birdie and which tree?" "What, I think the connection is going dead." Ryou hung up as he smiled innocently.

"You know the situation after school's out, right?"

"Would you mind if maybe I stayed with you until I can get a place?"
"Cathain.. I hate to tell you this, but I don't actually live here in France. My grandmother does, and we're moving as soon as school's out. For the entire Summer. We might be back next school year, but we don't know."
Cathain sighed. She saw that coming.
