Ryou went back to his dorm room, got his laptop, and went to Cathy's room. He got on his laptop and loaded up the remote controls for Lyoko as he checked the cameras at the factory through the laptop.

"Yeah, I know. Just one thing to make sure of is that no one is following us here to and from trips. If someone shuts down that computer, I'll be more than screwed. So will Lyoko."

"I'd rather take extra precaution. I'm worried about someone getting it and shutting it all down. Last time I shut the bloody computer down, it felt like a sense of impending doom. Not a good feeling. I remember feeling everything spinning, and then blacking out. I woke up hours later, but I was able to get to class on time."

"I did, luckily, before I blacked out." Cathain began thinking back to the day.
"I had finished up a trip from Lyoko and I was actually devirtualized by a monster. I had some information on something, but I don't know what it was. Had to have been important. XANA was on my trail when I left the tower. When I came back, I went to turn off the computer like normal. I felt that sudden sense of impending doom, almost. It feels like heart failure, basically. I guess I was thinking at the time had some sort of shock had caused it. I was able to turn the thing back on, but, after that, I blacked out. I don't know if I ever ran into the Scyphozoa, but I had to have if I have no memory of what that information was. XANA didn't want me to have it, and apparently he got it."

"I don't know. The Scyphozoa is terrifying, though. You can't move, you can't think, you're just listening. The sounds of the Scyphozoa match your heartbeat and then everything around you and the thing just blacks out. Eventually, as you feel more of your memory just slipping away, you feel like you're falling into a pit of darkness and just black out. The more he takes from you, the longer you're unconscious. It's basically virtual brain damage, if you ask me."

"I've tried. It doesn't work long. That's why I'm never so reluctant to go back on Lyoko once that's happened. But, the more XANA wants, the more I'll have to avoid him. I'll have to go to Lyoko to deactivate towers, but eventually he'll be out of my control of stopping. My powers have a limit. Panic."

"Well, it'll teach me not to panic, so I'd rather keep it. For once, maybe I'll be able to fight without panicking. It's like in school. If it wasn't for encouragement from other students, I wouldn't be where I am. I'd be panicking like crazy."

Ryou placed a hand on Cathy's shoulder. "Cathy, you're panicking again." Ryou spoke as he sighed, noticing her panicky tone.
