| Suddenly, several different beings entered the room. Kat could sense it. Yet, the one nearby her didn't attack.
"I don't wish to hurt you."
She felt something touch her hand. A scent filled her mind. One that was familiar to her, yet, it was very unknown to her as well.
"Who are you?"

| The beings in the room, except for the one nearby Kat, had suddenly turned black. The marking on her forehead glowed as a barrier was formed around Kat and the mysterious figure. The black figures began to attach to the barrier, draining the power. She had not yet learned how to fully control the power of the marking, and thus she did not have it's full control. As the barrier had suddenly shattered, Kat felt a sudden power drop. Almost as if it had drained her of energy.
Suddenly, she felt the figure leave her side. A blast of white filled the room. Kat had seen something pass her face. A shimmer in the air. She fell to the ground, partially conscious and not. The presence suddenly faded.
"Thank you," she whispered.

Tom looked behind him to see a dark figure. "Who are you and why are you stating obvious facts?" "You really are cocky, aren't you?" "It comes with the job."

| Tom focused as he put his hand in the air. "Freeze." A large white light surrounded the two as he approached the spirit. "Purification time." "What makes you think I can be killed by the likes of you?" "I said purification." Tom replied as everything became bright. The white light faded away as the dark figure was gone. A man laid on the floor unconscious. "You're purified now."

| Kat sensed the spirit yet again. It circled her.
"Thank you for your help." She felt something touch her forehead for a moment as if everything suddenly froze. In her mind, she saw a vision. A figure coated in black walked up to her. The two touched hands as the spirit spoke a strange language. One she wasn't familiar with. Yet, she almost instantly knew what he said.
"I'll help you. But, we must wait until I can speak with you alone. Can you spare me that?"
The spirit nodded as it faded yet again and everything appeared to be back to normal.
