| Steve saw a man who suddenly shot black energy at the three. "You guys go catch up with Heron and Zelda. I'll handle him." Steve purified and absorbed the black energy as the two fought. Alex and Alan proceeded upstairs to find a young girl hiding under a desk. "You okay, little girl?" "They took me here..." She replied. Alan looked at Alex as he took out a weapon. The young girl's disguise vanished as the woman attacked Alex. Alex's mark became active as he dropped the weapon. Alan gave him a piece of paper that he put in his pocket as he attacked the woman. "I'll handle her." Alex replied. "Thanks." Alan replied. "I'm on my way, guys." Alan yelled telepathically to Heron and Zelda.

| Heron, who was officially aggravated with the lock, banged his hand against it. He felt a sudden burning sensation. He pulled his hand back in pain.
"That's why you don't bang your hand against it."
"No, it just... burned. Like heat."
"Well, now we need to get the door open. If the locks melted--"
"Then I can do this." Heron ran up to the door and rammed up against it a few times. When the door came open, he rolled on the floor and stood up.
"And that's how you bust a door with a jammed lock."
(You know, I'm starting to question doing the RP over. I keep wanting to go back to the early days when we did RP Alan and Zelda as teens.)
