| Zelda stood up and began to walk toward Alan, wanting to do so many things but knew she probably wouldn't. Heron quickly turned her around and kissed her gently. Their lips met and she paused. When she pulled back to take a breath, she put her arms on his shoulders. "I'll handle you later, Alan." Zelda turned back to Heron and laughed, as if almost in a playful tone.
"What can I say? She loves me," Heron smiled. "You don't owe me for this. Just go while you have the time. I'd like a little time on my own with her, regardless."
