| Maya walked off back to her room. Zelda just laughed from Maya's suddenness. Zelda was just glad Maya was back. She went back to her room only to find Heron waiting.
"You finally going back to bed?" Heron asked.
"Yeah, Maya's going to sleep so I probably should too."
"May I join you?" Heron asked. Zelda walked up to Heron and hugged him a bit. "Sure, I'm just glad to have both of you back."

| Maya, while she was asleep, heard the voice return yet again. Only, in a demanding voice. She felt herself almost traveling, as if in her dreams she was traveling the realms. Maya saw a large shadow facing her, one that held its hand out to her. "Join the winning team and have all that you want." "What you will do with my power to open the Gate will not aid the world I live in." "Oh, no?" "Oh, yes." "Are you so sure? Your friends nor any other can offer you power like he can." "You jest, demon. Return to your hollow depths of Hades with all your others." "Insults hurt, my dear. But this shall hurt you more than me." The Shadow clenched its fist, and a golden color aurora surrounded her, then suddenly started suffocating her. "You see, I have the power to take ones aurora and turn it against them. This is a warning to you. Heed it well." Maya held her hand to her chest, gaining whatever air possible. "Let... me go." "What?" "Let... me... GO!" Maya yelled, her voice echoing throughout the entire area they were in. Her green aurora turned red, and the Shadow suddenly was destroyed. The suffocation stopped, and Maya woke up from the travel, only to fall unconscious.

Interesting for him to tap into that side-effect and make that one-way access pass an actual threat." "One of who?" "The ones above the Lightened." "Him?" "Yeah. We're both on the same level. I figured he'd try to attack me again, but now he's after Maya. He has the power to reflect one's energy backwards. It doesn't mean much if you have enough power to break the 'mirror' he sets, but it's potentially dangerous to others."

| Maya woke up, and put her hand to her chest, leveling her breathing. She listened to Alan for a moment, then said, "I don't know how, or why, but I think I just destroyed it. I saw the sudden aurora attack me, and it suddenly turned red and destroyed it... Good grief..."
