| Aqua placed her hand on Maya's back. "Calm down, Maya. Calm your nerves."
Maya held her hand to her chest. "I... I can't breathe. The energy... Get out.. Get out of me!" Maya's eyes turned a gold color as her form changed to the inner spirit wolf form of Terrene. The fur color was a brownish-green and a white aurora formed around her. The black energy immediately exited her body in a black mist form and exploded in a golden glow. Maya fell onto the ground, on all fours, panting.

| "It's not Maya we're worried about." Wind said.
"She can handle that on her own." Alan added.
"It's the seal. Her seal can't take the black energy input so it breaks down by a bit. The ratio of black energy to the breaking down of the seal has been maxed out. If the seal were to break..." Wind paused.
Alan continued, "...well, the consequences range from level 5, loss of focus, to level 1, instant death..."

| Alan replied, "Level 3 is on the verge of breaking. Loss of focus on powers, completely vulnerable, fatigue, paralysis, a chance of the evil in your spirit taking over the good... and other nasty side effects I forgot to mention. Level 3 is basically on the verge to losing your control of your powers whereas level 5 is just the release of your advanced powers. You were at level 4 when you absorbed the black energy. That went downhill at level 3. You can think level 3 as the start of a steep slope."

| Maya signaled for Aqua to walk up to her.
"Put your hand on her forehead. I have an idea."
"Are you sure?"
Maya nodded. Aqua placed her hand on Zelda's forehead. Her spiritual marking glowed on the top of her hand. Maya placed her head on Aqua's hand. Both of the marking glowed in unison. When the glow faded, Maya jumped down as Aqua kept her hand where it was. Zelda's elite marking and spiritual marking responded to it.
"Just wait a moment. Trust me. I know what I'm doing."

| Maya returned to her normal form. Aqua supported her for a moment while she came back to her proper senses. Zelda opened her eyes, and sitting up against the head of the bed. Aqua looked at Maya, confused at what she did.
"A power transfer," she replied. "You were weakened because Zelda was. With aid of my own power, and yours, it could recover part of hers and yours. You couldn't sense it because you were being restored of the power you were given. During the attack, I could sense most of her power had been taken. So, with mine and your aid, we could restore it. You and I both share power like hers. Thus, we could give power she gave to us." | |
