| Alan appeared behind her, grabbing her arm. Both of them vanished as they appeared inside the garden. Zelda laid unconscious. Alan's eyes turned red. He shot a gust of wind at the shadow as white blood stained the grass. "I-" Alan rendered the shadow immobile. "have-" The shadow spewed dark energy as Alan's dark energy purified and consumed it as it returned to Alan's body. "had-" Alan destroyed the shadow as it completely vanished from the garden. "it!" Alan's eyes turned back to their normal, dark brown color as he saw Zelda awaken. "Scare us like that again and I'll be the one killing you."

| Maya sat beside Zelda, helping her sit up. "I.. I don't know what happened. I was meditating one minute, calmly and trying to bring my powers back to normal. When I could manage to get to the bridge between the spirit and mortal world, since the Spirit world now allows usage of my powers, my powers were rising again. And, during the power rise, there was a sudden break in the connection. It felt like probably a hundred of Shadows rushing through your body. I was forced to come back to the mortal world where a Shadow was waiting. I couldn't attack as a defense, and next thing I knew everything just went black." | |

| "No, you don't understand. Remember when Maya was attacked and got a nightmare? She was attacked while her powers were being drained. She saw a nightmare, but she was attacked physically while it served as a decoy. You experienced a nightmare, feeling pain as if it was there due to the dark energy. However, a shadow took the opportunity to attack you and that led Maya and I here. Thank Maya, she's the one who sensed that something was up."
