| "All of us are in danger. Something is coming. We're at the edge of twilight, and thus more shadows are likely to strike at this hour. Maya is still out cold and it's due to the seal being removed and her power assistance. If Shadows strike, they'll target the weakest of the group and work from it. Until Maya fully recovers, I have a bad feeling she'll be targeted. Any of us, for that matter. Over the last few years, I've been trying to keep track of how strong the Shadows were. They're getting stronger again. Some of them that were banished must've gave up their powers to other shadows."

| An explosion could be herd outside as Alan yelled, "Grab my hand!" Alex obeyed instantly as Max held on to Zelda and Maya. Before the group knew it, they were in another room in the core building as Alan was in the back corner, leaning against the wall, panting from the sudden transportation he had to pull.

| Zelda showed the text to Alex, and they both soon said their good nights and such. Zelda and Maya returned to Zelda's room. Zelda laid awake on the couch, going through the day's events as Maya was asleep in her room.
