"Well, whatever happens, lets just hope this boat doesn't sink." Zelda laughs and focuses her attention to her Eevee who was playing with Bagon.

Alan asked, "Have you ever met a Team Rocket or Team Galactic member? Have you ever faced off against them, before?"

"When I was little, yeah. They threatened to take Haku's, and my, Eevee. At least, that's what I can remember."

"I'm not completely sure. It was thanks to Haku that our Eevee's are safe. Talk to him. He remembers better than I do."

Alan replied, "Okay. I'll talk to him later. Do you mind if I leave Bagon here to play with Eevee? I want to get something from my room."

"No problem." Miyuki sat them both on the lounge chair she was sitting on, letting them see the ocean.

Alan rushed to his room as he locked the door. A visual of his boss came up.

"Status report."
"Nothing to report."
"Nothing really? You haven't made any friends yet?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you sure are friendly with one known as Miyuki Elm."
"Your point?"
"You're going to Kanto to continue your mission, not to make worthless friends."
"Last time I checked, I was going to continue my mission while completing my journey. I have every right to make a friend."
"Well, you better not let your secret out. I wouldn't want to see the poor girl hurt or anything."
"You wouldn't."
"I can, and I will, unless you get your act straight. I hear she has an Eevee."
"I'm not stealing any pokemon. Discussion over. I'll meet up with the squad at the headquarters. Now leave me be."
"Very well. Just remember, I'll be keeping an eye on you."

The visual of Alan's boss vanished as he returned to Miyuki, grabbing a Kanto map from his room, on the way. "I found a map of Kanto." Alan said as he opened it up. Alan looked around to see if there were Team Galactic agents spying on him.

Alan replied, "Oh, it's nothing." Alan ell off the chair as he said, "Well, that hurt." Alan got back up as Bagon stared at him with a pathetic look. Alan banged his fist on Bagon's head saying, "Like you never had a rough day." Bagon began to laugh as Alan did so too.

Miyuki giggled a bit, as did Eevee. "Oh, I have an update on that dinner for you. I did go to dinner with the Captain, and they wouldn't let in any visitors last night. Tonight is the visitor's dinner, but by first class invite only. You're on my visitors list if all goes planned. The Captain said that the Pokemon Center that was to be on the boat had suddenly malfunctioned and that they will be sending some crew workers to fix it. Nurse Joy is on the boat, but relaxing as you can see." Miyuki glanced at the resting nurse in a lounge chair in the distance.

After a long night's rest, Haku Elm finally woke up. He was so tired from all of the excitement of beginning his new journey that he slept a bit late. "Where is Miyuki off to?" he thought. Haku left his room and went out to the deck to get a breeze of fresh air. He saw Miyuki playing with her Eevee. "Miyuki, we are finally starting our adventure! How exciting!"

Miyuki put her Eevee in her arms, then saw her brother. "Haku! You're awake finally, sleepy head!" Miyuki giggled, then hugged her brother after her Eevee licked his face to say Good morning.

"Aw, Eevee! Miyuki, I'm so happy that father let us begin our journey. I have waited so long for this moment, and it is finally here." Haku soon realized that he left his Eevee sleeping on his bed. "OH NO! Eevee is in my room! Let me go get him, Miyuki."
To Haku's surprise, his Eevee was still asleep on his bed. Haku went up to Eevee and told him that it's a new day. Eevee jumped out of bed, eager to see Miyuki and her Eevee. Haku and Eevee ran back to the deck. As soon as they got there, Haku's eager Eevee jumped into Miyuki's arms, forcing her to fall over.

Miyuki laughed as the little Eevee began to lick her face. "Calm down, boy! That tickles!" After a moment, Eevee settled down but was eager to play. Miyuki sat in the lounge chair and picked up the two Eevees. "They're both so adorable..." Miyuki paused for a minute, remembering she need to introduce Haku to her new friend.
"Haku, I want you to meet Alan. I met him yesterday."

"Already? Wow, this adventure has already gotten off to a great start! Where did you meet Alan?"

"On the deck. When you were gazing over the ocean, I put Eevee down for a moment to let her run around a bit. I saw a trainer with a Bagon, and we just got caught up in a conversation. Also, you missed dinner with the Captain last night. First class gets to sit with the Captain. Did you fall asleep early?"

"Well, I'm glad that you made a new friend. I'm looking forward to meeting him. And I actually did fall asleep at an early time last night. I was so tired from all the excitement of the day before. I can't believe I missed a dinner with the Captain, though! How was it?"

"It went fairly well. I had to talk to him about the Pokemon Center. For some reason, there wasn't one on board. He explained that there was a small malfunction and that it would be repaired soon. They didn't want to risk any Pokemon hurt. So, Nurse Joy, over there, is relaxing a bit."

"Oh, that's understandable. I wonder what went wrong?" All of a sudden, Haku noticed a bird-like Pokemon jump out of the water and fly away. It was white and it had wings and a tail. "What was that, Miyuki?"
