Trying to avoid pulling out her Pokemon, she was briefly distracted and didn't notice Oak behind her.

Alan spotted two figures within the lab. Unaware of who was inside, Alan continued to play with the Cyndaquil as Bagon was exploring.

"Hello, Professor! It's so nice to see you! I hardly remember meeting you, but I have heard great things from my father. You were one of the first Pokemon Professors around, correct?"

The Cyndaquil jumped out of Alan's hands as he rushed to the food that a worker had put out. Cyndaquil and Bagon were eating as Alan watched the other Pokemon play.

After Cyndaquil finished eating, he ran off to play with the other Pokemon. Alan stayed with Bagon as he asked, "So how's the food?" Bagon smiled as Alan assumed that he loved it.

"I am sure I didn't. Do you see a bruise? No." Miyuki pulled out her Eevee from it's Pokeball and held it in her arms. "If he lays one hand on Eevee, he's shrimp-toast."

"Okay." Haku turns back to Oak. "Sorry about that, Professor. She's a bit winded from the ride here."

Alan went to the lake that ran across the field. Alan opened up his pokedex as he scanned all the various pokemon there were. Bagon listened in on the pokedex as he jumped in the shallow lake.

Miyuki clenched her fist, trying to avoid saying anything. Taking her Eevee to her arms. "I just want some time alone, if you'll let me have that."

Cyndaquil ran in the forest as Bagon followed. Bagon managed to touch Cyndaquil as Cyndaquil stopped and sighed. Cyndaquil began to chase Bagon as Bagon ran back outside. Alan came in as Cyndaquil ran under his legs. "Be careful, you two." Alan stared deep into the forest as he turned back.

"I guess we better leave her alone for a bit. Anyways, here is my Eevee; I have wanted to show him to you for so long. What do you think of him?"

Miyuki walks outside and Eevee goes to play with one of the Pokemon outside. "I know I'm not going crazy... I know what I saw."

"He's grown, that is for sure. Your father has sent me images of your Pokemon."

Miyuki sat outside, then saw Professor Oak and Haku walking out toward her. Her Eevee came toward her and jumped in her arms while she was sitting at the base of a tree.

"Miyuki, is everything okay? The Professor and I were a bit worried with your reaction from earlier."

Miyuki sighed. "I don't know. I could almost swear that he was with that group of men. I know it, Haku. Maybe we should just head to the next town. I think it would be best if we do."

"Indeed. Actually, I have gifts for you two. I had gotten these from your father before you left. One, is from Johto. They are the PokeGear from Golden Rod City. I also have two bracelets for you two so you both will always be connected in a way. They are duplicates, and they have your names engraved. Miyuki's will say Haku's name, and Haku's will say Miyuki's name. Do you like it?"
