| "I can't move. Go get XANA. I'll be fine, Ryou--" Cathain was cut off in mid sentence as the red aura of the Scyphozoa's tentacles surrounded her. Everything around her and the creature had went black. She heard a voice whisper in her mind.
It said, "Caught in its grasp, my dear, you will lose whatever I wish to gain from your mind. Of course, today, I won't require much of you. I've already trapped you with the Lyoko connection. Should you dare shut down my world, you will die and I will hibernate. Humans cannot live forever with a heart, and I do not have such a limitation as you. We will meet again another day."
Cathain felt the touch of ground beneath her as she blacked out.

| "I talked with the nurse a couple of minutes ago, and after a quick check up, she said my cold was down. I just came to pick up the work Cathy and I missed. The nurse told me to make it quick so I can get the work and get back into bed. Are you going to be holding me up Jim? Are you going to go against the nurse's orders to quickly gather my materials and return? I'll gladly accompany you to the nurse's office or to Principal Delmas, but for the sake of my health and your job, I think getting to my room to get some rest and then to get started on this work would save us a lot of time and trouble. Don't you think so, Jim?"

He came to a stop at a wall. Blood ran down his face as his image came up on the screen when he tried to contact Cathy. His face was covered with blood as he grinned and showed a thumbs up. "I beat Xana."
