| "Er, alright." Cathain followed the woman. "Yes?" Cathain said.
"I'd like a word with you, if you don't mind."
"Go ahead."
"You know, I could really use some help. I've got a job offer here if you would like it."
"I'm a school-kid."
"A smart one."
"So?"
"So, you come here every chance you get. Will you join us? I'll give you double pay."
"I can't really say no to that."
"Good. Here's your first assignment." The manager stood up from his chair and grabbed her by the neck. For one split second, she felt an almost unbearable sensation on her arm. Cathain was able to let out a scream. Shannon was nearby and heard her.
"Cathain?"
Hurrying to the shop, she saw the situation and punched the manager in the face. He turned into a gas, along with the woman, and vanished. Cathain blacked out and her entire arm was filled with gashes.
"Someone call 9-1-1!"

| The gashes vanished as Ryou sighed. "Don't underestimate me. Her key was damaged in the real world so she takes damage. If I rebuild her key, I can undo the damage. The pain will last so tell the doctor to give her some anesthetics. Anyway, it seems that he inserted a remote virus into her. If I can get my laptop, I can decode what she was brainwashed to do. But I can already tell. She's probably going to wake up, see my face, the remote virus will recognize me, and she'll try to kill me. I'll need to go to Lyoko and reload the towers and deactivate it." | |
