| The figure appeared in a white mist. Like a spirit. He held out his hand and a white wisp circled around her. A familiar scent came to her.
"It's... It's you? How did you get here?" She didn't expect him to speak, but, sure enough, he did in reply.
"I'm here to protect you. Someone's after you. You specifically. He's going to come when you're alone. You must be ready."
"How do you know this?"
"Because it's my job to warn you. I protected you previously because I had to gain your trust."
"And how do you know that I trust you?"
"You haven't attempted to kill me yet, now have you? You have the power. You have much power now with your new marking and ability. When you are in danger, it will awaken again. But, only if it's the danger that I tell you of. If it's a danger that it must assist you with."
