| During the night, Kat had heard the strange voice yet again from the night before. The odd presence within her. It came to her, almost like a nightmare, and vanished like the awakening of a dream as she woke up in the middle of the night with sweat running down her face.
Both Tom and Kat remained unaware as to the strange presences, in which Kat merely assumed a nightmare that was attempting to surface from her lack of sleep. She soon fell back asleep, and the rest of the night went on with ease.
