| Maya started laughing a bit. She turned a few pages, reading a set of lyrics that Zelda had written in the back of her journal. Two songs were written in ink in the back two pages. One was from the song "If I Die Young" and another from "Nullarbor." An entry was written in the page beside it. It was unreadable, and then became clear to Maya. It was charmed by Zelda, who did it so only someone who was blood related to her could read it.
"I faced hardships growing up. Between losing my parents, my sister, my friends, and every last bit of my family, I felt defenseless. Even my own powers were limited to an extent because of my mental strength versus physical. There were many nights I questioned how long I would stay alive and fighting. I wrote the lyrics in the back of my journal to remember it all. However, I think to this day how I'd want to die when I did. Maybe a death by the water, and buried with roses at a river. I know I won't live forever. I have to admit that. And, someday, I want to have the perfect daughter. I want her to grow up with family. And, when I come to pass, I want her to know that I'm always going to be with her. Sometimes, I swear I have moments when I'm glancing at a future event. But, my own future I cannot see.
I believe there is one memory that will stick with me forever is when I honestly thought I was going to die. I was beaten down badly, I had nothing left, and even my own powers were being torn down. Watching an innocent die in front of me was bad enough. I've nearly given up my life for others ten times over. I've done a lot of research in the family line, and the Elites in my family have never lived a very long life. Elites never do. We don't get that kind of amazing life that normal people have. We can't hardly have a family. But, when I have a daughter, I'll make sure she has a family. People who care, and people who will be there when she needs them. I didn't have that for many years, and so that is something I can give her."

If people really knew how far I could go at an evil state, I have beliefs that truly no one could stand in my way. I suppose that's why I avoid the darker side of the evil. I'm not that kind of person. I mean, I can become ruthless, and I hate that feeling. It was like when that girl Kayla and the Director corrupted my powers. I threatened Rideem and Alan. I came merely inches from possibly killing Rideem. I have a lot to thank them for, however. I'd probably be a darkness Queen in the spirit world if I wasn't for them. Nearly became one, to be honest.---" The words from that point onward were unable to be read, as if Maya was being blocked by a charm that Zelda put on the book. The text would become available to her soon enough. | |

| Maya kept reading through the journal, and soon left the room to head outside.
"So, are you ready for a new adventure? Perhaps a little bit of a new experience?"
Maya listened to the voice, and underneath she did want some sort of adventure. Terrene had soon combined its spirit with Maya temporarily and she soon took the form of the spirit itself. The sun was starting to go down a bit. At the lake she sat in a wolf form.

| Maya looked around, taking notice of the fact she had changed forms. Another wolf had suddenly taken a form beside her. The fur was Earth-toned, just like hers. Maya took an attacking position.
"Relax. I'm not here to hurt you, Maya," the wolf said in a female voice.
Maya had sat back in a sitting position.
"I'm Terrene. An inner spirit. I'm the one who helps you control your abilities. Without me, you'd be corrupted, and your powers would destroy you. I understand it's strange being in this form, and being unable to speak the words of human for now. That's going to happen until you get further into your powers. In due time, that'll be fixed."

However, when you're at a fully powered state, the color can change according to how much power you've built up. The original color protects you in daily life, while the power colors are combat only. When you start finding your peaking level, that's when you get into environmental effects being made. For you, you are an Earth. So, your emotion can impact the environment. | "One thing I need to mention. In this form, you do use up more energy until you learn to control it. And, also, you can travel the Spirit World grounds. Because it will be in an animal form, you are free to travel the grounds of that world and not have to leave a body behind. If you are using your human form, your body will stay here. If you wish to try to roam, just think of the Spirit World and where you want to go. Relax, and let your Elite powers take you."
Maya had done so, and the faint outline of the marking on her paw -- although she didn't like saying that -- had glowed correspondingly. She left the mortal realm, and entered a forest in the Spirit Realm. Roaming around for a little while, another wolf with a jet black pelt and small silver streaks had came. Its eyes were a bloody red as it glared at Maya. Suddenly, out of the blue, the wolf jumped at Maya. She quickly dodged. Until she knew how to exactly use her powers in her current form, and in the current world, she couldn't fight back with her powers. But, she couldn't risk exposing herself either. The wolf had began to circle Maya as two others came. All of their coat colors were the same. Two of them backed her into a tree. The other one jumped from the branches onto her and attacked. Using claws and teeth, the two ended up fighting. Claw marks were visible on Maya, and the wounds were fairly deep.
"You've held your powers too long, and you've got into a battle that you're outmatched. I've got to return you to the Mortal Realm. Get out of sight. Hurry!"
Maya quickly managed her way out of the three's view and Terrene returned her to the Mortal Realm at the lake. Maya instantly blacked out, and returned to a human form. The claw markings were visible even on her human form. | |

| Zelda soon found Maya unconscious at the edge of the forest, nearby the lake. She had no wounds visible, but Zelda could tell that she was still beaten up pretty badly. Not to mention her powers were fairly low. "I swear, when you wake up, I'm going to hug you, and then beat you senseless for scaring me like that."
Zelda took Maya with her on the return trip to the agency.
